Sujet : Histoire démographique et architecture de la différenciation génomique le long du continuum de divergence du puceron du pois

J'utilise les outils de la génomique comparative et de la génétique des populations pour comprendre le fonctionnement des génomes eukaryotes. Je m'intéresse à plusieurs types de processus qui influencent la sélection au sein des génomes.

En thèse à l'Université de Montpellier, j'ai étudié l'influence de la taille efficace, des traits d'histoire de vie, de l'hémizygotie des chromosomes sexuels ou encore de la recombinaison et la conversion génique biaisée vers GC sur la sélection des séquences codantes.

Lors de mon premier post-doctorat à l’Université d'Aarhus, Danemark, j'ai analysé le processus de tri de lignée incomplet  afin de reconstruire l'histoire évolutive des primates et comprendre comment ce mécanisme permet de retracer les loci soumis à de la sélection récurrente.

Aujourd'hui je reconstruit l'histoire évolutive de populations ayant subit une radiation adaptative récente, le puceron du pois, et j'analyse le processus de mise en place loci barrière à l'introgression au cours du processus de spéciation chez cette espèce.
