Experimental platform Reducpol

Experimental platform Reducpol

The aim of the Reducpol Platform is to reduce pollution linked to phytosanitary products, in particular by (i) characterising sprays and agricultural spraying, (ii) modelling aerial transfers.

Location: Montpellier
Surface area: 1600 m² of analysis and testing facilities
Dedicated staff: 4 persons (IE, AI, 2 TR) at 80%, Post docs/ doc/CDD: 3
Reception: researchers and companies (surface: 6 offices)
In addition to its research activities, it offers a range of services, from the nozzle to the watershed:

  •     characterisation of fragmentation and transport by laser granulometry-velocimetry
  •     characterisation of sprays (nozzle output profile and flow rate)
  •     study of the drift of phytosanitary products as a function of the nozzle-product coupling
  •     study of drift in a real environment by fluorescent marking
