The Hall of Environmental Biotechnology

Located in the heart of the Parc Méditerranéen de l'Innovation de Narbonne, the second technology hall of LBE was inaugurated on December 4, 2009 by Georges Freche, President of the Languedoc-Roussillon Regional Council, Marcel Rainville, President of Aude General Council, Jacques Bascou, President of Narbonne Urban Community , Gerard Dubois, subprefect of Narbonne, Tristan Lamy, Vice President of Grand Narbonne delegate to the economic development research and higher education , and Philippe Vissac, President of INRA Montpellier.

The Hall of Environmental Biotechnology is located at the Mediterranean Innovation Park (PMI), a unique and outstanding location where research, higher education and support for innovative companies come together (http://www.phototendance.com/old/visites-virtuelles/grand-narbonne/). The PMI, a platform for exchanging and sharing knowledge and know-how in the field of new technologies, also includes a business incubator and the University Institute of Technology Chemical Engineering - Process Engineering of the University of Perpignan.

With about 650 m2, the Hall of Environmental Biotechnology reinforces the LBE technology development and transfer activities by hosting SME and large industrial groups who want to conduct proof of concept testing, experimentation and scale-up studies in the field of wastewater and waste treatment.
